Your Mission as General Manager
As the General Manager of Hilton Yaounde, you will:
- Lead with Excellence: Inspire and guide a diverse team of professionals to deliver unmatched guest service and operational success.
- Drive Results: Achieve financial goals, boost profitability, and ensure compliance with Hilton’s global brand standards.
- Enhance Guest Experiences: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring every guest’s stay is exceptional.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will embody Hilton’s values and demonstrate:
- Leadership Experience: Proven success as a General Manager in a hotel of similar size and quality.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (preferred).
- Strategic Expertise: A track record of implementing commercial strategies and maximizing profitability, especially in corporate markets.
- Operational Savvy: Experience in managing renovations, budgets, and forecasting with a focus on maintaining high-quality service.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to engage and collaborate with owners, corporate stakeholders, and local authorities.
- Team Empowerment: Expertise in building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams while fostering Hilton’s inclusive culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Experience leading hotel renovations or capital projects.
- Composure and adaptability in high-pressure situations.
