Job Opportunity: Treasury Custody and Business Optimization Officer – ECOBANK CAMEROON S.A
Location: Douala, Littoral Region, Cameroon
Job Purpose
- Safeguard and manage securities and other assets of mutual funds under the bank’s custody
- Revaluate asset management portfolios
- Attract and recruit new portfolios for the bank
- Maintain strong relationships with mutual funds and regulators
- Ensure treasury business optimization through effective resource, process and control management
Key Responsibilities
- Review all asset transactions and reconcile cash movements
- Confirm shares/units transferred to the correct investor
- Maintain accurate records for each unit holder per regulatory standards
- Send security release confirmations to fund managers
- Process mutual fund instructions
- Support other unit tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with COSUMAF regulation No. 1 dated July 21, 2022
Team Support
Collaborate with the custody and treasury teams to achieve set objectives.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Bac +3 minimum) in Finance, Management, Banking, Marketing, or related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a financial institution
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Interpersonal relationship skills
- Client relationship and marketing capabilities
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Negotiation skills
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of COSUMAF regulations
- Financial market practices in CEMAC region
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Understanding of securities accounting
