Role Overview
CHAI Cameroon is looking for a Finance Intern to support the finance team in handling financial tasks, including invoice processing, maintaining records, and supporting the financial operations. This is a valuable opportunity for a motivated individual to gain practical experience in a professional finance setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing invoice payments via mobile money platforms.
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Scan and organize financial documents for easy access.
- Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and updated financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
- Perform additional finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience in an international NGO.
- Experience in processing payments using mobile money platforms is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to scan and review documents efficiently.
- Fluency in English and French is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
