Internship Opportunity: Graphics Intern
The Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation focuses on catalyzing Africa’s economic transformation through:
- Social entrepreneurship,
- Science and technology,
- Innovation,
- Public health,
- Progressive economic policies.
The Foundation is home to the Nkafu Policy Institute and the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Center.
Objective
The Foundation seeks a Graphic Design Intern to support the team in developing high-quality campaign presentations across various formats.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in creating graphics and promotional materials for social media campaigns.
- Support the production and publication of videos.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Education:
- A university-level certification in graphics, visual design, or a related field.
Competencies:
- Technical Skills:
- Mastery of Adobe Design Suite and other visual communication tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Deadline and results-oriented approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Highly organized, with multitasking capabilities.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative, with a willingness to implement feedback.
What We Offer
- Duration: 3 months of full-time internship with experienced professionals and academics.
- Allowance: Transport allowance of 60,000 FCFA.
- Resources: Access to in-house training, internet, research seminars, and discussions.
- Evaluation: End-of-contract assessment and written recognition of work.
Conditions:
- Interns must bring their own laptops.
- Medical insurance must be arranged by the intern.
- Interns are responsible for their travel to and from Yaoundé.
- No employment is guaranteed after the internship.
