Nestlé Cameroun is seeking a highly skilled Cluster Safety, Health & Environment Manager to lead initiatives that ensure excellence in safety, health, and environmental sustainability across its operations. Educational Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant Experience

• 5–7 years of proven experience in safety, health, and environmental management.
• Strong expertise in managing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, implementing safety policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspire Change

• Foster a deep understanding of Nestlé’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E) values.
• Motivate stakeholders to exceed compliance standards and drive continuous improvement using methodologies like NCE Foundations, TPM, and Lean Value Stream.
• Promote a behavioral approach to SH&E in alignment with the Nestlé Leadership Framework.

2. Develop and Implement Strategy

• Identify site-specific SH&E priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
• Develop and implement a strategy aligned with market priorities and the site’s operational master plan.

3. Manage Global SH&E Systems

• Oversee the execution of the Nestlé Safety and Health Management System (NSMS) and the Nestlé Environmental Management System (NEMS).
• Ensure compliance with global certifications like OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.

4. Build Leadership Capability

• Provide training and coaching to managers and team leaders to take ownership of SH&E responsibilities.
• Guide and support the Site/Unit Management Team on all SH&E initiatives.

5. Develop and Strengthen SH&E Networks

• Establish and coordinate networks of SH&E professionals and subject matter experts.
• Build robust succession plans for critical SH&E roles.

6. Deliver Expert Guidance and Support

• Offer trusted advice to managers on SH&E matters and identify best practices internally and externally.
• Oversee tasks like exposure monitoring, health surveillance, and lifecycle assessments.

7. Ensure Compliance and Continuous Improvement

• Conduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with Nestlé’s SH&E standards.
• Use tools like SHE-PM to analyze performance and implement strategic improvements.

8. External Engagement

• Build relationships with regulators, unions, communities, and NGOs.
• Represent Nestlé in external forums to benchmark and share best practices.
