CALL FOR ARTISTIC PROJECTS – CAMEROON CULTURAL NETWORK 2025
The Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN) is launching a Call for Artistic Projects to promote the mobility of artistic productions across Cameroon. This initiative, supported by a coalition of Cameroonian and European cultural institutions, aims to strengthen the country’s creative industries by providing artists with touring opportunities and professional development.
About the Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN)
Established in 2022, the CCN is a collaborative platform designed to boost the visibility and movement of artistic productions throughout Cameroon. The network is backed by eight major cultural and diplomatic partners: the Spanish Embassy in Cameroon, CIPCA, CLAC, the European Union Delegation in Cameroon, Goethe Institut, Institut Français du Cameroun, Kiki Entertainment, and OTHNI – Yaoundé Theatre Laboratory.
Since its inception, the CCN has organized over 90 performances, featuring 20 artistic productions in disciplines such as dance, theatre, visual arts, music, and slam across 9 cities in Cameroon. This program aims to inspire the nation’s civil society by showcasing high-quality, innovative artistic works selected by experienced professionals in the arts and culture sector.
In 2025, CCN continues its mission, providing a sustainable platform for artists and cultural operators to thrive.
Objectives of the Call
- Increase the mobility of Cameroonian artists across the country.
- Strengthen the connection between artists and their audiences.
- Contribute to the professionalization of artists, technicians, and cultural promoters.
- Support independent cultural venues by enhancing their programming.
- Stimulate the growth of Cameroon’s cultural and creative industries (CCI).

- Dance
- Music
- Declamatory Arts (Slam, Poetry, Storytelling, Stand-up)
- Theatre
Eligibility Criteria
Artists must be Cameroonian residents.
Applicants must not have previously won a CCN prize.
Applicants must provide proof of an existing artistic production (album, play, collection, etc.).
Artists must be available for 3 to 4 performance dates across multiple cities between June and November 2025.
Selection Criteria
A panel of independent arts and culture professionals will assess applications based on:
- Artistic, technical, and professional quality of the applicant.
- Originality, creativity, and relevance of the proposed work.
- Quality of the application dossier.
- Diversity considerations (regional, linguistic, and gender representation).

Applications must be submitted exclusively by email with the subject line:

Applications should be compiled into a single PDF document (max. 5 pages, 5MB) and include:
- A recent photo of the artist/group.
- A one-page CV (Times New Roman, font size 12, single-spaced).
- A one-page biography (Times New Roman, font size 12, single-spaced).
- A two-page project description, including a summary and an artistic note (Times New Roman, font size 12, single-spaced).
- A video/photo link showcasing a previous performance or exhibition.

Call for applications: March 18 – April 7, 2025
Results announcement: April 28, 2025 (via email and social media)
Touring period: June 1 – November 31, 2025
Conditions & Benefits
Selected artists/groups will tour 3 to 4 performance dates in different Cameroonian cities, including their city of residence.
CCN covers all logistics (transport, accommodation, and meals) under predefined conditions.
Artists receive a performance fee of 328,000 FCFA per show/exhibition.
CCN manages promotional activities for the selected projects.
